The Ed and Marlene Pittsley Collection
Saturday May 4, 2015
with a continuing preview from 10:30AM
Remember, at our auctions, the preview never ends, come early, come late, look at anything you wish at any time!
It is with a heavy heart that we have to announce that our dear friend Ed Pittsley passed away in March.
Anytime we saw Ed, he would have stories that would make us laugh. It was always fun to pop in to visit the shop. For 57 years Marlene and Ed raised a beautiful family and built up a world of knowledge.
They also amassed an incredible collection of antiques and collectibles in their massive antique store
"Grandma's Pretties" in Whitney Point.
Dear friends, this is much more than a store, by going through the things and seeing the love and time they put into each item, the displays, organization and categorization defines this as a true collection.

These are some photos of what is coming up in following sales, there are also 100's of items packed in large bins, we will take it as we go for as long as it takes.
We have been asked to auction the
Ed and Marlene Pittsey collection

Matchbox, Tools, a ton of Pyrex, Pink Depression, Autumn Leaf, Barbie, large holiday figures (later), too much for any list.
Technical note: We'll be mixing items in, the first sale will be most of what we have displayed, and focus on the part we have organized, the second will follow and add from the other half of the building. There are hundreds of items packed in bins in storage and under tables to go through. We have about 30 chairs available, if you need to sit, come early. Seating space is limited, bring a smaller chair. Plenty of standing room. Bring boxes, boxes, boxes, and more boxes. We'll try to have as much paper as we can.
Bear with us, and have your tax refunds ready, this is one of those opportunities of a lifetime with so much quality in one place.
This a liquidation, no returns or refunds, everything sold as is, the terms are cash and good checks. Any questions, please call.
